Courtney Hohl has been immersed in the real-estate business since 2012. She has spent a large portion of that time focusing on the luxury home market and over the last few years has become a go to for real estate investors buying long and short term hold properties in the Central Austin Area.  Courtney has also expanded her portfolio to include commercial acquisitions and development.

Prior to getting into real estate Courtney started her career in the corporate sector managing External Affairs which encompasses both public relations and legislative activities.  She managed those activities for the State of Texas.  Her relationships in the legislative arena incentivized her to work at the Texas Capitol.  Through the combination of working both sides of the legislative process she gained the knowledge of negotiation and how to position herself within a very competitive and adverse environment.

She was approached by Tito’s Vodka to help grow the business in 2007. A complete industry change came with its obstacles but inevitably allowed Courtney to gain experience on how to leverage contracted distribution employees to increase production, revenue and expand brand recognition. Through this unique experience, she gained the knowledge of the effectiveness of grass roots marketing.

Looking for a new challenge, Courtney turned her focus towards pursuing a role in technology as it presented an opportunity for new personal growth and advancement. Her relationships in telecom are what lead her to work for the start-up, Clearwire. While there she excelled and was recognized as a top performer and was selected to be part of the New Markets Launch Team, specifically New York City. She took a declining national retail channel from 51% of attainment to over 250%.

Due to Courtney’s success with Clearwire, she was recruited by Let’s Gel Inc (LGI) for a consulting role to help determine the  retail channel viability. She was involved in the overall profit and loss strategies, implementing and creating different products for each market segment and more importantly, how to increase business.

Shortly after LGI she was hired by Google to manage three markets driving sales in Google products, specifically Google Offers. Once again a top performer, she received the Top Gun Award for attainment over 150%. The department was relocated to CA and NY however with a baby boy on the way she opted to stay in Austin and pursue her love of real-estate. The rest as they say is history!
